Our Philosophy

At Computer Training Corporation (CTC)  we understand that your order is the most important order we will ever process. Most in-house orders go out the day after they are received, unless that falls on a holiday or weekend. THis does not apply to pre-publication discounts. These orders are normally shipped within 15 days of the publication date. We would re-confirm any order not available in this time, when we have a phone number on the order.  All orders paying for priority shipping will have their orders processed before the general orders. We currently use Federal Express for priority orders and the US Postal Service or UPS for standard orders.

CTC Shipping and Handling for standard orders is $5.00 and for Priority Next Day orders is $15.00. Next day orders are not accepted after 2:30 PM Central Time, or for pre-publication titles.  Saturday priority delivery is $3.00 additional.  Office hours are from 10AM to 6 PM Weekdays. Our office number is 816-252-4080. Please identify yourself as a Techtape customer when you call.

Many of our authors do their own order fulfillment, and it is our policy that all orders will be shipped by them within a two week time period of the time we send your info. Normally this transmittal is done the next business day after your order to us. Outside fulfillment sets their own S&H fees.

Money Back Policy

At CTC we want you to be always satisfied, if you find your order is not satisfactory in any way, we will on written request; either replace it, replace it with an equivalent, of refund your money. A damaged tape will be replaced with a new one when the damaged one is returned. If you require one sent out right away a $5.00 credit card charge is made then credited back to you when the damaged tape is returned. If you order by credit card, you must take a credit to your charge account. Cash, money order and check orders will be issued a check. To be fair to both of us refunds are limited to the original purchaser for the first 15 days after the ship date of the package.  The full purchase price, actually paid, will be refunded within 10 days, less shipping and handling charges.  Our total limit of liability to you is limited to the purchase price received for any of our products. No other statements of merchantability or fitness are expressed or implied.

Non-CTC Orders

We ask all of our authors to offer a reasonable money back policy and will discontinue any title with unresolved problems in this regard. Naturally other publishers and other sites with reciprocal links will have there own policy, feel free to check with the company you actually place the order with.
