Why You Should consider this audiotape...

This is NT 102, not for beginners (although they also will benefit) but aimed squarely at the MIS and Network managers and staff that have to keep NT systems going day-by-day. The following experience assumptions are made: 1. You have a working vocabulary, although terms are defined you should know common computer terms and meaning. 2. You have worked with the Explorer interface and have seen at least Windows 95-98 in operation.  3. You have installed software packages or operating systems.  4. You understand basic network issues and could, say map a drive. 5. You have been on the Internet and can reach a URL.  6. E-mail is a service you freely use.

Not Just a Test Course...

As educators, we truly reject training programs that turn out test wonders that know nothing else. This program will be of major benefit to those that truly want to learn NT.  The technique areas of the tape will help even experienced NT professionals that already hold the MCSE and MCP ratings.  Mr. Gibson, in teaching thousands of students, has heard almost every problem there is. The whole idea of training is to learn from others experience and not have to go through the difficult learning curves that can exist in such a sophisticated and large body of code.

Why I Wrote and Recorded an Original Audio Book.

My name is Graeme Gibson, over the last three years I have given hundreds of seminars on Windows NT, I also took and earned the MCSE, and MCP+Internet ratings. In preparing for my tests, I often found myself wishing for audio drill materials that I could study in the car, while driving from seminar to seminar.  I recorded several of my own, and when I mentioned it to others, they kept asking to borrow the tapes. So much so, that I decided to distill much of the NT wisdom I had gained during the process, down to a series of audio tapes. The first of these is: Windows NT™  - Tests, Tricks and Technique. I hope you find them as helpful, in your quest for knowledge. Help yourself, in this day of deadlines, and work schedules that leave almost no time for study.
